Angelina Koenig is a dedicated non-profit leader with over 30 years of experience in organizational management, social services, and program development. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of the Mountain View Community Center in Edgewood, Washington, where she oversees comprehensive operational and programming strategy.
Throughout her distinguished career, Angelina has held pivotal leadership roles, including 25 years with The Salvation Army, where she served as a Corps Officer and Executive Director across the Western United States and Mexico. She also spent three years as the VP of Program Services at the Seattle Union Gospel Mission, leading eight departments ranging from outreach to aftercare programs.
Angelina’s expertise is vast, with a proven track record in transitional housing, HUD programs, social justice advocacy, and food bank operations. Her operational background includes fiscal and budget management, grant writing and compliance, board recruitment, and volunteer leadership. She has actively served on homeless task forces and steering committees, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to community health and resilience.
Angelina is passionate about applying her deep governance and operational knowledge to empower non-profit organizations to achieve their mission. She looks forward to contributing to the GD Association board and continuing her lifelong commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
