Big News for GD Association!
We are honored to share that our Norman Mitchell Manor Expansion project has been awarded $258,000 to support much-needed renovations that will strengthen stability, safety, and dignity for the residents we serve. This will directly support the implementation of a food pantry for residents alongside new community spaces.
A heartfelt thank-you to ADEFUA Cultural Education Workshop and Afua Kouyate for hosting the check presentation ceremony, and to the members’ office for recognizing the vital work happening across our community. We were honored to have this check presented to us by Representative Chipalo Street and Senator Rebecca Saldaña; we would also like to especially thank Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos for being instrumental in reaching this point.
This investment helps us continue our mission of providing secure, supportive housing for families, seniors, and veterans in Seattle. Every improvement brings us one step closer to ensuring our residents have a place they can truly call home.
